Q: I paid for Cleer Platinum but I never got it.

A: Please check your spam folder. The email is from cleerplatinum@gmail.com. If it's not in there, enter the email (or username) you used when you signed up, in the appropriate field on this page so you can be re-sent a link. If you still have trouble, email cleerplatinum@gmail.com with the subject 'Never Got Cleer Platinum'

 

Q: I want to use PayPal to buy Cleer Platinum

A: You can, but we have to set up your account manually (paying via credit card gets you instant access right after your payment). So if you're paying via Paypal:

  1. Pay via paypal here: https://www.paypal.me/jordanmalik/97
  2. Forward your Paypal receipt (that you receive via email) to us at: cleerplatinum@gmail.com
  3. Please allow 1 business day to receive your username and password to get Cleer Platinum.

 

Q: How do I reset my password?

A: Do this

1. Ensure you're logged out of Cleer Platinum

2. Go to this link: http://cleerplatinum.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

3. Enter the username email address (the same one you used when you signed up) in that form, you will receive email instructions on resetting your password (check your spam mailbox if you don't see it).

 

Q: How do I know Cleer Platinum is installed and running?

A: You'll see our 'monitor' icon near the upper right hand corner of the page - See this screenshot. Also, if you type in your browser chrome://extensions, you should see the Cleer Platinum extension and there should be a checkbox checked that says 'enabled' (See this screenshot) . Also see this video for what you should see on Amazon.com, eBay.com, and other shopping sites (target.com, walmart.com, etc.)

 

Q: Cleer Platinum isn't working correctly.

A: First ensure you have the Cleer Platinum extension installed, and you're running the latest version of the Chrome browser. Then see our help page. If that doesn't help you, email the issue to us at: cleerplatinum@gmail.com.

 

Q: Where should those 'colored' buttons be appearing?

A: See this video or continue reading. A row of colored buttons will appear on:

Q: Why don't I see the 3 colored buttons on Overstock.com anymore?

A: Some Cleer Platinum users reported that the 'three buttons' Cleer Platinum places on Overstock.com items was acting really buggy. Our programming team couldn't fix that. So instead you'll need to use Cleer Platinum's 'highlighting' feature when you're looking at an Overstock.com item. Here's how:

  1. Put your mouse pointer to the left of the product title
  2. Hold your left mouse button down
  3. Drag the mouse to the right so the entire product title is highlighted
  4. Release your left mouse button
  5. Click your right mouse button and select "Cleer Platinum" from the drop down menu.

Q: A colored button stopped working/isn't working correctly.

A: Try (in order):

-- Deleting your Chrome cache (how: https://goo.gl/dkFcae)

-- Closing your Chrome browser and reopening it.

-- Closing some tabs (having open too many tabs can cause errors)

-- Disabling other chrome extensions (Having too many Google chrome extensions running can cause errors)

-- Then reboot your computer

If doing all the above still doesn't help, please copy the URL of the chrome page where you are seeing things not working correctly, and send an email to us at cleerplatinum@gmail.com, paste the page URL into the body of the email and kindly describe the problem in a few words.

 

Q: The row of colored buttons on an Amazon product page are getting 'cut off' by the Amazon 'Buy Box'.

A: The likely culprit is your Chrome broser zoom settings are above 100% (see sample snapshot: http://screencast.com/t/kZxgMpzymP4t) If that's the case, be sure to reduce your zoom settings to 100% (upper right corner drop down menu in Chrome window).

 

Q: What's the difference between Cleer Platinum and Cleer Pro?

A: Cleer Pro is great (and free) but it only does about 20% of what Cleer Platinum does. If your online sourcing needs are basic, the free Cleer Pro is fine. If you want to be a 'power' sourcing machine, you need Cleer Platinum. The differences can be seen right here.

 

Q: I installed Cleer Platinum but I also have Cleer Pro running, and now Cleer Pro won't work anymore.

A: Well, if you have Cleer Platinum you don't need the free Cleer Pro anymore. Cleer Platinum does everything Cleer Pro does and more. If you insist on having them both you should type in (without quotes) "chrome://extension" in the browser bar and your current extensions should be listed, you can disable Cleer Pro or Cleer Platinum, just keep the one you want to use enabled.

 

Q: I don't have the Chrome browser. Where do I get it?

Q: Will Cleer Platinum work for the Firefox browser or Internet browser?

A: Sorry no, not at this time.

Q: Will Cleer Platinum work on my mobile phone / iPad / iPhone / Android phone?

A: Sorry no, not at this time.

 

Q: Will this work if I'm outside the U.S.?

A: Yes, but please note it will only be a.) useful you if you can source (buy) products from U.S. based stores AND b.) You can sell on Amazon.com (U.S) and/or eBay (U.S.).

Sellers outside the U.S. can buy products online from major U.S. retail sites like Walmart.com and ToysRus.com, to resell on Amazon.com. BUT please know:

1.) You can't send items directly from the online store (e.g. Walmart.com) to Amazon.com. It doesn't work like that - Amazon will reject your shipment(s)

2.) Many onlines stores do not accept non-U.S.-based credit cards for purchases. In those cases you'll need to buy products using paypal or gift cards, and

3.) You will need to have those online stores ship your order(s) to a pre-fulfillment service so they can process them for Amazon.com for you.  Those fulfillment centers will charge fees for that, so watch your profit margins.

 

Q: Will this work on a MAC?

A: Yes, if your MAC has the Chrome browser installed
